Marian Fraley Hamm ( In Memorium, 11/16/42
- 9/15/89) After high school, Marian attended
business school in Cleveland. She became a flight attendant for Eastern
Airlines and married Fred Hamm. They raised one daughter, Deborah Margaret
Hamm. She worked for Warner Lambert Pharmaceutical Company. Throughout her
life, Marian gave of herself to others through her church and work. She was
very involved in saving stray animals. She also continued her love of dance and
baton. She died in September, 1989 after a courageous struggle with breast
cancer. Marian is survived by her mother, Margaret Fraley of Brecksville; two sisters, Pat Fraley Distel, BHS '58, of Newnan, Georgia, and Brenda Fraley Kolchin, BHS '62, of Tannersville, Pennsylvania; husband Fred Hamm of Stockbridge, Georgia; daughter Deborah Hamm Ahern of Penacook, New Hampshire; and three grandchildren. |
