Michael
McAllister (Brecksville,
OH) After graduation Mike entered
a four year apprentice program as a construction electrician. He married fellow
classmate, Patricia Kowalski. Mike and Pat had 5 wonderful children, 3 girls
and 2 boys. Mike and Pat built their 1st and 2nd homes in
the same time frame because of a fire 3 weeks before moving in.
Mike is currently retired after serving 45 years in
the construction business for various contractors and various big projects such
as the BP Building and Tower
City.
Mike’s beloved wife Pat passed away very suddenly in
1999. Mike has managed to keep the family close. He is a grandfather of 9, all
are BBHHS Alumni. Their oldest child Tracy is a social worker studying for her
law degree; Sean is teaching in Garfield
Heights and is a wonderful writer. Sean has won
several contests including trips to Ireland
and France
with Mike accompanying him; Molly is homemaker with a new set of twins. She
previously worked for Key Bank; Maureen is a homemaker; and Kevin owns his own
contracting business in Columbus.
Kevin is much sought after for his painting and artistic work including murals.
Mike is currently still raising his award winning
horses, enjoys his Model A Ford's, and participates in many car shows and
parades. He enjoys many outings and cruises with fellow classmates. He also
serves as a volunteer for Human Services in Brecksville. Mike gets teased about
driving Miss Daisy and all the cookies he gets. Mikes sends best wishes, good
