Adrienne Schrauf Hastings (Leesburg,
FL) Adrienne lived in Brecksville
for 20 years after college and raised their two daughters in the Brecksville
School System. When their younger daughter started high school, they moved to Cincinnati due to her
husband’s job. Four years later another job took them to New
Jersey, in the New York
City area.
In 2002 they moved to Florida. Adrienne
continued to work down there in what she called her retirement job – elementary
school teacher’s assistant. It’s fun but physically challenging! It’s so
different from her career as an artist/designer. She had worked many years as a
wallpaper designer – both free lance and for different companies and has
designed dinnerware, fabrics – household goods. Adrienne had her own company, Designs
by Adrienne, for about 11 years. It was a rewarding career and now she is doing
something not at all related to art – but just as fun! |
