Soucek (Cleveland,
OH) Graduated from Kent
State in 1964; married July 4, and
taught high school English for 5 years; had 5 children including 3 adopted
children (3 boys/2 girls) lived 10 years in Rockville,
Maryland then moved to Lakewood.
She divorced and became a Secular Franciscan and nursed for 12 years in
a nursing home plus 2 years in assisted living.
Gratefully
all of these moments have led to a quieter and simpler way of being – a time to
grow in grace, wisdom, awareness – now retired, a time to follow passions of
gardening, volunteering and vigiling with the dying for Hospice of the Western Reserve
(10 years) and living a more contemplative life. |
