Lynne Strachota Bobula (Medina, OH) After graduating from Brecksville High School Lynne  graduated from Kent State University with a BS in Education and Library Science. During her 40 year career she taught in Independence Schools for two years and Brecksville Schools for 38 years. Lynne’s entire career was devoted to second grade students and her 22 student teachers. “I received many teaching awards including Outstanding Young Educator, Outstanding Educator, Jennings Scholar and Outstanding Career educator from Cuyahoga Valley Career Center.”

In June 1965 Lynne married husband Walt. They settled down in Brecksville until 1977. They then moved to Granger Township in Medina. Lynne and Walt have five beautiful, peaceful acres with an English Tudor style home. Just after they moved to Medina, son Steven was born. He is now an Infectious Disease doctor working at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
 

Over the years Walt and Lynne have enjoyed many years of travel all over the world and taken many cruises. They also used to downhill ski. Now they enjoy US travel and antique hunting. They love to visit auctions so they can and add Victorian antiques to their vast collection. “There are many other things I could add, however, we have found maintaining good health is most important.”
